The V Set originally had green seats with yellow tinted walls before being refurbished in 2013 to their iconic purple.

There is one (1!) train that has an extremely special carriage. Train V25, carriage DET9216 (previously DCT9034) had its crew compartment converted into passenger seating, which is commonly called the Contura V Set Car! Pictures of its original green and refurbished purple seats are shown below! And you wouldn't believe it, but this same train has ANOTHER special feature! In the single deck area of one (or both, I'm not entirely sure) of the quiet carriages (first and last carriages), a seat has been removed to act as wheelchair seating as the original desgin of the V Sets did not account for disabled passengers. In all honestly, I find this redundant because the doors to get on and off these trains is too small to fit a wheelchair, so I'm happy with their decision to replace them with the D Sets in the future.
